Terms of Use

The rules for using this Site, and the disclosures that come with it.

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of meeshamoultonlaw.com (the “Site”), operated by Meesha Moulton Law (the “Firm”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Three Things That Matter Most

Before anything else, three points that affect your legal rights:

No attorney-client relationship

Reading this Site, filling out a form, or sending an email does not make you a client.

Not legal advice

Everything here is general information. It is not advice about your specific situation.

Deadlines are real

Legal claims expire. Waiting to speak with an attorney can permanently end your ability to recover anything.

Each of these is explained in full below.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Meesha Moulton Law. That includes browsing pages, reading articles, submitting a contact form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, or sending a text message.

An attorney-client relationship is formed only when both of the following have happened:

  1. Meesha Moulton Law has completed a conflict check and agreed to accept the matter, and
  2. A written fee agreement has been signed by you and by an attorney at the Firm.

Until both steps are complete, no attorney at the Firm is acting as your lawyer, and the Firm has no obligation to take any action on your behalf, including preserving evidence or protecting a filing deadline.

Do Not Send Confidential Information

Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the contact form or by unencrypted email until an attorney-client relationship has been established in writing.

Information sent before that point may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. It may also create a conflict that prevents the Firm from representing you. When you first reach out, share only enough to describe the general nature of your situation and how to reach you.

Internet and email communications can be intercepted, delayed, or lost. The Firm cannot guarantee the security or confidentiality of anything transmitted through the Site.

This Site Does Not Provide Legal Advice

Content on this Site, including practice area pages, articles in the Journal, FAQs, and any downloadable materials, is general information only. It is not legal advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about your particular facts.

The law changes. Statutes are amended, courts issue new decisions, and agency policy shifts, which is especially frequent in immigration law. Content on this Site may become outdated, and the Firm does not undertake to update it. Nevada law and Arizona law differ in meaningful ways, and outcomes turn on specific facts.

Do not act or refrain from acting based on anything on this Site without consulting a licensed attorney in the appropriate jurisdiction.

Time Limits on Legal Claims

Every legal claim is subject to a filing deadline, called a statute of limitations. Claims against government entities are often subject to much shorter notice requirements. Immigration filings carry their own deadlines and consequences for missing them.

If a deadline passes, a claim may be permanently barred no matter how strong it is. Nothing on this Site should be read as confirming that any particular deadline applies to your situation. Speak with an attorney promptly.

Attorney Advertising

This Site may be considered attorney advertising in some jurisdictions.

The attorney responsible for the content of this Site is Meesha Moulton.

Prior Results and Case Outcomes

Prior results do not guarantee, warrant, or predict future outcomes. Every case is different and is decided on its own facts, evidence, and applicable law.

Any case results, settlements, verdicts, or client testimonials described on this Site relate to matters in which the Firm served as lead counsel or was primarily responsible for the outcome. Any monetary figure described reflects the gross recovery before deduction of attorney fees and litigation costs, which were the responsibility of the client. Nothing on this Site should be read as a promise or prediction about what any other case may achieve.

Testimonials reflect the experience of individual clients. They are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of any other matter.

Fees

Personal injury matters are handled on a contingency fee basis. There is no attorney fee unless the Firm recovers compensation. A client may still be responsible for costs, expenses, and, in some circumstances, the fees and costs of the opposing party. Fee terms are set out in a written fee agreement, which controls in all respects.

Where the Firm Practices

Meesha Moulton is licensed to practice law in Nevada and Arizona. Immigration law is federal, and immigration representation before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Executive Office for Immigration Review is not limited by state lines.

This Site is not intended to solicit clients in any jurisdiction where its content would not comply with applicable rules of professional conduct or advertising rules. Meesha Moulton Law does not seek to represent anyone based solely on their viewing of this Site in a jurisdiction where doing so would be improper.
